FAST WINDOW
Standard: 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM (local time). Alternate: midnight to 12:00 PM, 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM,
or any continuous twelve hour window.
IN ADDITION
Fast from social media during your fasting window unless required for work. If required for work, reduce it to essentials only.
UNITY MOMENT
If you can, pause to pray at 12:00 PM local time.
If you cannot, pause at the midpoint of your fasting window and pray in agreement with today’s focus.
SCRIPTURE
Genesis 16:13 (NIV)
You are the God who sees me.
Psalm 147:3 (NIV)
He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.
Psalm 34:18 (NIV)
The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
Isaiah 61:1 (NIV)
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners.
PRAYERS
Opening prayer
Father, I quiet my heart before You. I invite Your presence into this fast and I ask You to lead me by Your Spirit.
Reveal what needs healing and bring it into Your light. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Main prayer
Father, You are the God who sees me. You know my story and You understand my pain.
Today I ask You to reveal what needs healing at the root. Heal the brokenhearted parts of me and bind up my wounds.
Replace shame with truth and fear with peace. Restore my identity, my confidence, and my hope.
I trust Your process and I receive Your love. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Closing prayer
Father, thank You for meeting me today. Help me steward what You revealed and obey what You are asking of me.
Seal the work You started and let Your peace remain with me. In Jesus’ name, amen.
