CORPORATE FASTING

Corporate Fast (Every Wednesday)

Each Wednesday, we fast together as an act of surrender, healing, and spiritual breakthrough. You are welcome whether you can participate during the standard hours or you need a schedule that fits your work and family responsibilities.

Biblical fasting is not punishment. It is a sacred practice of humbling ourselves before God, sharpening our spiritual focus, and aligning our hearts with His will.

Scripture Anchor
“Return to Me with all your heart, with fasting and weeping and mourning.”
— Joel 2:12
ONE DAY CORPORATE FAST

How to participate each Wednesday

Use this page as your steady guide for each Wednesday fast. The goal is unity and surrender, not a perfect schedule.

Standard fasting window

6:00 AM to 6:00 PM (your local time).

If your schedule does not allow this

You are still included. Choose one approved option:
• Midnight to 12:00 PM (your local time)
• 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM (your local time)
• Any continuous twelve hour window that fits your responsibilities

Night shift participants

Fast during your waking day. Choose a continuous twelve hour window covering most of your awake hours, for example 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM, or 10:00 PM to 10:00 AM.

Unity prayer moment

If you can, pause to pray at 12:00 PM local time. If you cannot, pause at the midpoint of your fasting window and pray in agreement.

Reminder: God honors sincere hearts. Agreement matters more than a clock.
PREPARE YOUR HEART

How to prepare and what to do during the fast

Keep it simple. Prepare with repentance and clarity, then devote your day to worship, prayer, and Scripture.

Confess and consecrate
Ask the Holy Spirit to show you what needs to be addressed. Confession and repentance lead to cleansing and renewed intimacy with God.
Reference: 1 John 1:9
Choose your method wisely
Ask the Lord how He wants you to fast. Consider your responsibilities and physical limitations, then choose a method you can complete with peace.
Four simple practices for the day
Get quiet
Create quiet time to rest in Him and listen. Do not add busyness to avoid discomfort.
Worship
Spend time worshiping the Lord to connect with God before asking for specifics.
Prayer
Pray throughout your day and set aside focused times for prayer and agreement.
Read and journal
Read Scripture with reflection, then record what the Lord shows you: insights, convictions, dreams, and revelations.
Avoid distractions

During a fast, time can feel slower. Resist the urge to fill it with distractions. Reduce television, scrolling, and entertainment. Use that time to be filled with the Spirit of God.

Social media: Consider fasting from social media alongside your food fast unless your work requires it. If required, reduce it to essentials only.

FASTING METHODS

What counts as fasting

Choose a food fast method that is realistic for your life and allows you to stay focused on the Lord.

Normal fast: liquids only (no food)
Partial fast: certain foods (example Daniel style)
One meal fast: skip two meals
Absolute fast: no food or drink (rare, only if clearly led)
If you are pregnant, managing a medical condition, taking medications that require food, or have a history of disordered eating, please consult a medical professional and choose a modified fast that is wise and safe.
