Our Story
Healing Hearts Prayer Circle began on October 19, 2023, when founder Ava Bruce created a small WhatsApp prayer group to share prayer, Scripture, and encouragement with family and friends. Inspired by her own journey of healing and restoration, she wanted others to experience the hope and encouragement she had found through Jesus Christ.
What began with a small group gradually reached a wider community through Instagram and Facebook. As the ministry grew, Ava continued seeking God's direction and believed He was leading her to establish a nonprofit organization. In 2025, Healing Hearts Prayer Circle, Inc. was formally established in Florida, grounded in the same calling: to help heal through prayer, grace, and God's power.
Prayer and Practical Care
Ava's own seasons of financial hardship also shaped Healing Hearts Prayer Circle. During those times, her faith in God and the generosity of others helped her keep going. Having experienced the difference that practical support can make, she wanted the organization to extend that same compassion to people facing hardship.
That is why HHPC offers charitable outreach and limited financial assistance when resources allow, not as a separate mission, but as another way to put faith into action.

A Journey That Became a Calling
Ava Bruce, Founder and President of Healing Hearts Prayer Circle, knows firsthand what it means to seek God during a difficult season. Her personal journey of emotional and spiritual restoration is at the heart of why HHPC exists.
During a time when prayer felt distant and hope was difficult to hold onto, Ava began seeking God more deeply. Through prayer, deliverance, Scripture, and Christian teaching, she experienced a renewed relationship with Jesus Christ. As she continued to grow in faith, she became more rooted in discipleship, Christian community, and service through her local church.
Those experiences strengthened Ava's desire to encourage others to seek God for themselves, remain grounded in His Word, and find support through Christian community.
For Ava, Healing Hearts Prayer Circle is an expression of God's work in her life and her desire to encourage others to develop their own relationship with Jesus Christ. Her prayer is that people will find strength to keep seeking Him and experience His healing, freedom, and hope.
Outside the ministry, Ava enjoys fitness, exploring new places, learning, creating, and meaningful time with family and friends.
