PURPOSE OF TODAY'S FAST

Today we are bringing stubborn, recurring, inherited, hidden, and longstanding battles before the Lord. We are asking God to exercise His sovereign authority over everything resisting His will for our lives, families, purpose, spiritual growth, and destiny.

Our confidence is not in ourselves. Jesus Christ is the Chief Cornerstone. Our authority is through Him, our victory is through Him, and every prayer today is offered in His name.

About our Wednesday fasts: Healing Hearts Prayer Circle introduces a new fasting theme and prayer focus each Wednesday. This is not a numbered fasting program and you are not required to pray this particular prayer every Wednesday. A new focus will be provided next Wednesday as part of the Warfare Prayer Series through the end of the year. However, the prayers, Scriptures, and declarations from this fast remain available to you. You may return and pray them daily, continue them beyond the fasting day, or revisit them whenever this prayer focus is needed.

SCRIPTURE FOUNDATION

Jesus Christ, the Chief Cornerstone

Matthew 21:42 identifies Jesus as the stone rejected by the builders who became the head of the corner. Matthew 21:44 continues the image by describing the stone as able to break and to grind to powder.

This is the foundation for today's theme. The grinding power does not belong to us independently. We are bringing stubborn battles before the authority and power of Jesus Christ.

SECOND KINGS 19: WHEN THE BATTLE LOOKS GREATER THAN YOU

Hezekiah faced an intimidating enemy whose words were designed to produce fear and hopelessness. He did not depend on his own strength. He brought the matter before the Lord.

Second Kings 19 reminds us that God sees the threat, hears the words spoken against His people, and is able to intervene in battles that appear impossible from a human perspective.

Hezekiah received the letter and went into the house of the Lord, where he spread the matter before God.

COVERING PRAYER

Father, in the name of Jesus, I place myself completely under Your authority. I fully surrender every area of my life to the lordship of Jesus Christ. Cover me through the blood of Jesus. Cover my spirit, soul, body, mind, emotions, home, family, purpose, sleep, dreams, and everything concerning me. Let the Holy Spirit lead every prayer today. Guard me from fear, pride, anger, confusion, distraction, and retaliation. Jesus Christ alone is Lord over my life. In Jesus' name, amen.

PRAY IN THE HOLY SPIRIT

Holy Spirit, help me pray according to the will of God. Reveal what needs repentance, what needs correction, what needs wisdom, and what needs persistent prayer. Strengthen my inner person and guide me in truth. In Jesus' name, amen.

REPENTANCE AND CLEANSING

Father, search me and know my heart. Forgive every sin, every act of disobedience, every wrong agreement, every open door, every word spoken outside Your will, and everything in my life that does not please You. BEFORE YOU BEGIN THE WARFARE PRAYERS

Recommended Preparation Before Prayer

Before beginning the warfare prayers and declarations, take personal time before God. These steps are recommended so that each person prepares their own heart sincerely before the Lord rather than simply repeating a written prayer.

1. Fully surrender to Jesus Christ. Submit every area of your life to His lordship and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal anything that is not aligned with God.

2. Repent. Confess known sin and ask God to reveal anything unknown that requires repentance, including relevant generational patterns or iniquities.

3. Renounce. Verbally reject and turn away from any ungodly covenant, agreement, curse, soul tie, dedication, involvement, or connection with darkness that God brings to your attention.

4. Stand in the finished work of Jesus Christ. Place your faith in what Jesus accomplished through His death and resurrection and in the cleansing and redeeming power of His blood.

5. Close every door. Turn away from anything you have genuinely repented of and renounced, and do not willingly reopen access through the same actions, agreements, or involvement.

6. Then begin the warfare prayers and declarations. Pray from a position of surrender to God and dependence upon the authority of Jesus Christ.

Submit yourself to God and resist the devil.

Identify the Stubborn Battle

What has continued to resist change? What pattern repeatedly returns? What seems to follow your family line? Where does progress repeatedly stop? What battle has existed so long that you have begun to accept it as normal?

Bring that matter specifically before the Lord today. Ask Him to expose its root, show you how to pray, and reveal any action or obedience required from you.

Why the prayers are detailed

In Ava’s experience, spiritual battles and life challenges often operate in the details and in places that may be overlooked. These prayers are intentionally thorough, but every person should move at a pace that supports understanding, faith, sincere surrender, and obedience. You do not have to rush through a prayer or pray every word at once.

Every power rebelling against the progress God has ordained for my life shall not prevail. Let God arise, and let every enemy of His purpose for my life be scattered.

Father, let Your holy fire confront every power refusing to give me rest. Every stubborn battle resisting Your will for my life, family, calling, spiritual growth, and destiny must yield to the authority of Jesus Christ.

My testimony will be greater than the battle I have endured. The number of experiences I have faced will not determine the greatness of what God can still do. I place my progress, future, and destiny into the hands of Jesus Christ. In Jesus' name, amen.

DECLARATIONS OF FAITH

Jesus Christ is the foundation of my life.

Let every foundation, covenant, evil agreement, curse, enchantment, spiritual resistance, inherited pattern, hidden opposition, and recurring battle contrary to Your will be broken. Let everything You did not plant be uprooted. Let Your purpose alone stand in our lives and families. In Jesus' name, amen.

PERSONAL PRAYER MOMENT

Return to the specific stubborn battle you identified at the beginning of the fast. Speak plainly to God about it. Pray the Scriptures that apply to your situation.

Ask God: What is the root? Is there anything I must repent for? Is there something I need to renounce? Is there someone I need to forgive? Is there an instruction I need to obey? Is there a practical action I need to take?

After praying, remain quiet before the Lord and allow time for reflection and listening.

THANKSGIVING

Father, thank You because You are greater than every battle I have brought before You. Thank You for Jesus Christ, my Savior, my Deliverer, and my foundation. Thank You because nothing is hidden from You.

I praise You before I see the answer. I trust Your wisdom. I trust Your timing. I trust Your authority. I trust Your will. Let every prayer offered today produce the fruit You desire. In Jesus' name, amen.

Father, in the name of Jesus, thank You for sustaining me through this fast. I place every prayer, declaration, concern, revelation, and outcome into Your hands.

Let no fear, confusion, heaviness, contamination, or assignment of darkness follow this time of prayer. There shall be no retaliation, revenge, backlash, counterattack, regrouping, regathering, reinforcement, transfer, substitution, replacement, masquerading return, renewed covenant, reattachment, or reopening of a door I have genuinely closed. Let Your peace guard my heart and mind. Seal every prayer aligned with Your will. I close this fast in faith, thanksgiving, peace, and surrender. In Jesus' name, amen.

Leave Completely and Leave Nothing Behind

Because I have repented and renounced what required repentance and renunciation, and because I stand in the finished work of Jesus Christ, every legal right and ground that has been genuinely broken and canceled shall no longer be used as a point of access against me.

To everything I have commanded to leave during these prayers, I now declare: “Come out with all your roots, branches, seeds, deposits, cords, chains, hooks, habits, agreements, and points of attachment. Leave no residue, hidden root, fragment, replacement, or doorway behind.”

Every place from which darkness has been removed is surrendered to Jesus Christ. Let the Holy Spirit fill, govern, sanctify, and establish every area of my life according to the will of God. I belong completely to Jesus Christ. In Jesus' name, amen.
