June Wisdom Reading Plan
Day 17: Proverbs 17, Ecclesiastes 8:10 to 17, and Psalm 17
Scripture focus

Goal
The goal of this fast is to seek God for justice while surrendering our pain, frustration, unanswered questions, hidden matters, relationship wounds, and desire for vindication into His hands. We are not fasting for revenge, retaliation, or harm against anyone. We are fasting for God’s righteous judgment, truth, exposure where needed, protection for the vulnerable, healing for the wounded, correction where there has been wrongdoing, and peace while we wait on the Lord.
Fast window
Standard: 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM local time. Alternate: midnight to 12:00 PM, 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM, or any continuous twelve hour window.
Flow
Worship → Opening prayer → Read Day 17 scriptures → Reflect → Main prayer for justice → Listen for God’s instruction → Closing prayer.
FAST WINDOW
This corporate fast will take place on Wednesday, June 17, 2026. The standard fasting window is 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM local time. If needed, you may choose an alternate fasting period of midnight to 12:00 PM, 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM, or any continuous twelve hour window. Use this time to seek God for justice, truth, protection, righteous judgment, healing, peace, and surrender.
IN ADDITION
Fast from social media, unnecessary entertainment, excess noise, gossip, arguments, retaliation, complaining, and conversations that stir up anger, bitterness, or offense unless required for work or urgent responsibility. Make room for worship, Scripture meditation, repentance, forgiveness, silence, listening prayer, and surrendering the matter fully to God.
BEFORE YOU BEGIN
Before you begin, ask God to search your heart. Ask Him to remove bitterness, revenge, pride, fear, offense, accusation, and emotional striving. This fast is not about taking justice into our own hands. It is about bringing the matter before the righteous Judge and trusting Him to reveal truth, defend the vulnerable, correct what is wrong, protect what belongs to Him, and bring justice in His way and His timing.
UNITY MOMENT
If you can, pause to pray at 12:00 PM local time. If that is not possible, pause at the midpoint of your fasting window and pray in agreement with today’s focus: Lord, I bring this matter before You. Let Your justice speak, let Your truth be revealed, let the innocent be protected, let the wounded be healed, and let my heart remain clean before You.

SCRIPTURE AND DAILY FOCUS
Daily declaration
Today, I seek God for justice with a clean heart. I will not repay evil for evil. I will not take vengeance into my own hands. I will not allow bitterness, fear, anger, or offense to lead me. I bring every hidden matter, wound, concern, injustice, accusation, and unanswered question before the righteous Judge. I trust God to reveal truth, protect the innocent, correct what is wrong, and bring justice in His way and His timing.
Proverbs 17
Proverbs 17 teaches wisdom concerning justice, integrity, speech, conflict, family matters, friendship, and the condition of the heart. It reminds us that the Lord tests the heart and that justice must not be perverted. During this fast, we ask God to purify our motives and help us seek righteousness without becoming bitter or vengeful.
Ecclesiastes 8:10 to 17
Ecclesiastes 8 reminds us that justice does not always appear immediate from the human perspective. Wickedness may seem to continue for a season, and unanswered questions may remain, but God still sees, knows, rules, and judges righteously. During this fast, we trust God with timing, truth, justice, and outcomes.
Psalm 17
Psalm 17 is a prayer for God to hear, examine, protect, and vindicate. It teaches us to bring our case before the Lord, ask Him to test our motives, keep us as the apple of His eye, and hide us under the shadow of His wings. During this fast, we ask God to defend, guide, purify, and protect us.
Psalm 89:14
Justice and judgment are the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face.
Isaiah 30:18
And therefore will the Lord wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the Lord is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him.
Romans 12:17 to 19
Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
Luke 18:7 to 8
And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? I tell you that he will avenge them speedily.
Reflection
What matter am I bringing before God for justice?
Have I surrendered the desire to retaliate, control, expose, or force an outcome?
Is there bitterness, anger, fear, offense, or pride in my heart that needs to be cleansed?
Where do I need God to reveal truth and protect the innocent?
Where do I need healing from what happened?
What do I need to release into the hands of the righteous Judge?
Am I willing to trust God’s timing even if justice does not happen the way I expected?
What instruction is the Holy Spirit giving me today?
PRAYERS
Opening prayer
Father, in the name of Jesus, I come before You as I begin this fast. I dedicate this day to You and ask You to lead me by Your Holy Spirit. I bring before You every matter where justice is needed, every place where truth is needed, every wound that needs healing, and every situation that is too heavy for me to carry alone.

Father, search my heart before I pray. Remove bitterness, pride, revenge, fear, offense, anger, accusation, and every motive that does not please You. I do not want to pray from retaliation. I do not want to pray from emotional striving. I do not want to pray from a desire to harm anyone. I want to seek You as the righteous Judge.

Cover me in the blood of Jesus. Cleanse my spirit, soul, body, mind, heart, emotions, words, motives, relationships, home, family, and atmosphere. Let my prayers today be led by the Holy Spirit and aligned with Your will. Teach me how to seek justice without losing mercy, wisdom, humility, or peace. In Jesus name, amen.
Main prayer for justice
Father, I come before You as the righteous Judge. Your throne is established in justice and righteousness. Mercy and truth go before Your face. I bring this matter before You and ask You to judge righteously.
Pause and speak to God about what you are bringing before Him for justice:
Lord, You see what I cannot see. You know what was said, what was done, what was hidden, what was misunderstood, what was manipulated, what was stolen, what was broken, and what was covered. Nothing is hidden from You. No lie is stronger than Your truth. No injustice is greater than Your authority. No weapon formed against Your people can prosper when You rise to defend.

Father, I ask You to reveal truth. Expose what needs to be exposed. Correct what needs to be corrected. Stop what needs to be stopped. Protect the innocent. Defend the vulnerable. Strengthen the weary. Heal the wounded. Vindicate according to Your will. Bring righteous judgment where there has been wrongdoing.

Lord, I ask You to deal with every hidden motive, every false accusation, every deceptive agreement, every manipulation, every oppression, every injustice, every abusive pattern, every slanderous word, every dishonest act, and every plan that was formed outside of Your will. Let truth prevail. Let righteousness prevail. Let Your justice speak.

Father, I also ask You to work in me. Heal the wounds that injustice created. Deliver me from bitterness, revenge, fear, anger, shame, confusion, and the desire to take matters into my own hands. Help me forgive without pretending that wrong was right. Help me release the burden without abandoning wisdom. Help me trust You without forcing my own outcome. Help me obey Your instruction even while I wait.

Lord, I ask for justice with mercy where mercy is needed. I ask for correction where correction is needed. I ask for protection where protection is needed. I ask for exposure where exposure is needed. I ask for healing where healing is needed. I ask for restoration where restoration is Your will. I ask for separation where separation is needed for safety, peace, and obedience.

Father, I surrender the timing to You. I surrender the outcome to You. I surrender the people involved to You. I surrender my pain to You. I surrender my need to understand everything to You. I surrender every hidden matter into Your hands.

Keep me as the apple of Your eye. Hide me under the shadow of Your wings. Let every righteous prayer rise before You. Let Your will be done. Let Your kingdom come. Let Your justice, truth, mercy, and righteousness be established. In Jesus name, amen.
Closing prayer
Father, thank You for meeting me during this fast. Thank You for hearing my prayers and receiving every burden I placed before You. I trust You as the righteous Judge. I trust Your truth. I trust Your timing. I trust Your wisdom. I trust Your justice.

I release every person, every situation, every hidden matter, every unanswered question, every wound, every injustice, and every outcome into Your hands. Help me not to pick up what I have surrendered to You. Help me not to return to fear, anger, bitterness, or retaliation. Help me walk in peace, wisdom, obedience, and discernment.

Seal every prayer that was prayed according to Your will. Cover me in the blood of Jesus. Cover my heart, mind, family, relationships, home, sleep, dreams, peace, and atmosphere. Let no retaliation, confusion, heaviness, fear, offense, or spiritual residue attach itself to me.

Let Your justice prevail in Your time and in Your way. Let Your peace guard my heart. Let Your wisdom guide my next steps. Let Your truth stand. I close this fast in faith, surrender, thanksgiving, protection, and peace. In Jesus name, amen.
