Corporate Fast: God, Do for Me What You Did for Abraham

7 DAYS OF FASTING

For those who are able, you are invited to join us for 7 days of fasting from July 1 through July 7, 2026. The focus of this fast is to ask God to do in our lives what He did for Abraham. God called Abraham out of his old place, old family patterns, old identity, and familiar surroundings. He gave him a new direction, a new name, a covenant promise, a generational blessing, and a prophetic future.
Date
Wednesday, July 1 through Tuesday, July 7, 2026
Theme
Asking God to do what He did for Abraham: call us out of old family patterns, establish us in covenant, change our identity, activate His promises, raise new altars, release generational blessing, and lead us into the territory He has prepared.
Scripture focus
Genesis 12:1 to 8, Genesis 15:1 to 21, Genesis 17:1 to 8, and Genesis 22:16 to 18
Fast focus
This fast is for those believing God for a new level, new job, new position or promotion, new home, relocation, change of city, new assignment, new territory, or new beginning. It is also for those who are already newly walking in the change and need God’s wisdom, covering, covenant, confirmation, protection, and instruction as they move forward. We are asking God to call us out of old family cycles, break bondages, change what has defined us, establish us in His covenant purposes, and help us raise new altars that honor Him.
PROPHETIC FOCUS
God Changed Abram’s Life, Name, Bloodline, and Future
Abraham did not simply receive a promise. He had to leave what was familiar, obey God’s instruction, build altars, believe God for what looked impossible, and enter into covenant. God changed Abram’s name to Abraham, shifted his identity, and established a blessing that impacted generations. During this fast, we are asking God to call us out of old family patterns, old limitations, old altars, old identities, and old cycles so we can walk in His covenant, His promises, His instruction, and His blessing. For those already walking in the new change, we are asking God to protect, establish, strengthen, and guide what He has started.
PURPOSE OF THE FAST
To ask God to call us out of old family patterns like He called Abraham out.
Example prayer focus: Lord, just as You called Abram out from his country, his relatives, and his father’s house, call me out of every old family pattern, mindset, bondage, limitation, fear, cycle, and agreement that cannot go with me into the promise You have prepared.
To ask God to change what has defined us.
Example prayer focus: Father, just as You changed Abram’s name to Abraham, change every identity, label, mindset, family expectation, wound, failure, shame, rejection, and limitation that has defined me outside of Your will. Give me the identity that agrees with Your covenant and purpose.
To ask God to establish those who are newly walking in the change.
Example prayer focus: Lord, if I am already walking in the new job, new home, new city, new assignment, new ministry, new relationship season, new responsibility, or new level, establish me in Your will. Cover the new place. Give me wisdom, discernment, protection, favor, discipline, humility, and obedience so I do not carry old patterns into the new season.
To overthrow existing altars and raise new ones unto the Lord.
Example prayer focus: Lord, expose and overthrow every altar of fear, delay, confusion, rejection, poverty, sickness, rebellion, stagnation, limitation, or bondage that has been speaking against my life, family, assignment, home, ministry, business, or future. Help me raise new altars of worship, prayer, obedience, holiness, surrender, and covenant with You.
To take spiritual territory by removing what is old and establishing what is holy.
Example prayer focus: Lord, as I step into a new job, promotion, home, city, ministry assignment, business opportunity, relationship season, family responsibility, or new territory, help me remove every old pattern, mindset, agreement, altar, or influence that cannot enter this new place with me.
To activate the prophecies and promises God has released over your life.
Example prayer focus: Father, remember every word You have spoken over my life. Activate what came from You in Your timing and according to Your will. Remove fear, delay, unbelief, distraction, warfare, passivity, and wrong agreements that have hindered me from walking in what You said.
To enter into a generational blessing covenant with God.
Example prayer focus: Lord, establish my life and family line in covenant with You. Let salvation, righteousness, wisdom, prayer, worship, obedience, holiness, provision, peace, and divine purpose be established in my bloodline from this generation forward.
To receive and walk in the sworn benefits, blessings, promises, and inheritance of God.
Example prayer focus: Lord, release every benefit, promise, blessing, protection, provision, territory, multiplication, divine help, victory, and inheritance that You have ordained for my life according to Your Word, Your covenant, and Your will.

If you are pregnant, nursing, taking medication, managing a health condition, or under medical care, seek appropriate medical guidance and choose a safe way to participate.
IN ADDITION
Consider fasting from excess noise, social media, unnecessary entertainment, complaining, gossip, fear-filled conversations, and anything that distracts you from prayer, worship, repentance, and hearing God clearly.
BEFORE YOU BEGIN
Before you begin, ask God to search your heart and reveal what you are being called to leave behind. Abram had to leave his country, his relatives, and his father’s house to go to the land God would show him. During this fast, ask the Lord what old agreement, old altar, old pattern, old fear, old mindset, old identity, old bondage, or old family cycle must not follow you into your next season. If you are already walking in the new change, ask God what old thing must not be allowed to operate in the new place.
SUGGESTED DAILY FLOW
Worship → Opening prayer → Read the assigned Scripture → Reflect → Pray the daily focus → Renounce old agreements → Ask God to change what has defined you → Ask God to establish the new change → Declare God’s covenant promises → Listen for instruction → Close in thanksgiving.

God swears blessing over Abraham because of his obedience. The promise includes multiplication, victory over enemies, and blessing that reaches the nations through his offspring.
Reflection
What is God calling me to leave behind?
What old family pattern has shaped my identity, decisions, or expectations?
What old altar has been speaking over my family, choices, mindset, or territory?
What name, label, identity, or limitation does God want to change?
What new altar of worship, prayer, obedience, and covenant must I raise?
If I am already walking in the new change, what must be protected, established, strengthened, or corrected?
What prophecy, promise, or instruction do I need to believe again?
What new territory is God calling me to occupy with holiness and obedience?

OPENING PRAYER
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I come before You as I begin this fast. I dedicate these seven days to You. Search my heart, purify my motives, and lead me by Your Holy Spirit. Help me hear what You are saying, obey what You are requiring, and surrender what You are asking me to leave behind. Lord, do for me what You did for Abraham. Call me out of old places, old family patterns, old limitations, old identities, old agreements, and old cycles that cannot go with me into the promise You have prepared. If I am already walking in the new change, establish me, protect me, guide me, and keep me aligned with Your will. Cover me, my family, my home, my future, my work, my ministry, and my territory in the blood of Jesus. Let this fast bring alignment, clarity, consecration, covenant, deliverance, obedience, establishment, and a new beginning in You. In Jesus name, amen.
MAIN PRAYER
Father, I come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. I ask You to do in my life what You did for Abraham. Call me out of everything old that cannot go with me into the covenant, promise, territory, and future You have prepared. Call me out of old family patterns, old mindsets, old agreements, old bondages, old fears, old labels, old wounds, old limitations, old cycles, and old altars. Separate me from anything that keeps me tied to what You are calling me to leave. Give me the grace to obey You even when the next place has not been fully revealed. Lord, if I am already newly walking in the change, establish me in the new place. Establish me in the new job, new position, new home, new city, new assignment, new business, new ministry, new family direction, or new responsibility. Do not allow old patterns, old fears, old reactions, old mindsets, or old bondages to govern the new season. Teach me how to walk in the new with wisdom, humility, discipline, obedience, and discernment. Lord, just as You changed Abram’s name to Abraham, change what has defined me. Change every identity that was shaped by trauma, rejection, failure, fear, family dysfunction, limitation, shame, delay, or wrong agreement. Give me the name, identity, confidence, obedience, and covenant mindset that agrees with Your purpose for my life. Lord, overthrow every existing altar that has been speaking against my destiny, family, assignment, territory, obedience, peace, identity, purpose, provision, health, relationships, ministry, business, and future. Every altar of fear, delay, confusion, rejection, poverty, sickness, rebellion, compromise, stagnation, failure, limitation, and bondage that is not established by You, let it be overturned by the authority of Jesus Christ. Father, I ask You to raise new altars in my life. Let there be an altar of worship, prayer, obedience, holiness, wisdom, covenant, purity, stewardship, and surrender. Let my home become an altar of prayer. Let my heart become an altar of worship. Let my decisions become offerings of obedience. Let my work, business, ministry, family, and territory be dedicated to You. Lord, activate every prophecy, promise, dream, instruction, and word that You have spoken over my life according to Your will and timing. Let every word from You that has been delayed, resisted, buried, forgotten, or opposed come into divine alignment. I reject fear, unbelief, passivity, double-mindedness, and every agreement that fights the fulfillment of Your word over my life. Father, bring me into generational blessing covenant with You. I come out of agreement with old family patterns, destructive cycles, inherited bondage, repeated failure, spiritual limitation, ungodly covenants, and anything in my bloodline that does not honor You. Establish righteousness, wisdom, salvation, deliverance, obedience, prayer, worship, holiness, and covenant blessing in my family line. Lord, release Your sworn benefits over my life according to Your Word and Your will. Release blessing, protection, multiplication, territory, provision, divine help, favor, victory, and generational impact. Let what You promised be established. Let what You ordained be protected. Let what You planted bear fruit. I declare that old altars will not speak on my behalf. Old names will not define me. Old patterns will not shape my future. Old bondages will not govern my next season. I belong to Jesus Christ. My life, family, future, territory, and assignment are submitted to the Lord. Father, lead me into the land, purpose, assignment, covenant, and identity You have prepared. Establish me in the change You have already begun. Teach me to walk in faith, obedience, humility, courage, and full surrender. In Jesus name, amen.
DAILY DECLARATION
Lord, do for me what You did for Abraham. Call me out of the old. Establish me in covenant. Change what has defined me. Establish the new change You have started in my life. Give me the identity that agrees with Your promise. Old altars will not speak on my behalf. Old family patterns will not follow me into my next season. I raise new altars of worship, prayer, obedience, holiness, covenant, and surrender unto the Lord. God is my shield, my reward, my covenant keeper, and the One who establishes my territory. In Jesus name, amen.
CLOSING PRAYER
Father, thank You for meeting me during this fast. Thank You for Your Word, Your instruction, Your correction, Your covenant, and Your promises. Seal every prayer that was prayed according to Your will. Let no retaliation, confusion, fear, heaviness, or spiritual residue attach itself to me. Cover my heart, mind, body, family, home, sleep, dreams, work, ministry, business, territory, and future in the blood of Jesus. Let Your peace guard me. Let Your wisdom guide me. Let Your covenant speak louder than every old altar, old name, old pattern, old bondage, and old limitation. Let my obedience open the way for Your will to be established. I close this fast in faith, surrender, thanksgiving, and expectation. In Jesus name, amen.
“Lord, do for me what You did for Abraham. Call me out, change what has defined me, establish me in covenant, and establish the new change You have started.”
Fast declaration based on Genesis 12, Genesis 15, Genesis 17, and Genesis 22:16 to 18
