Journal reflection
Where is God calling me to believe Him more deeply today?
What areas of my life need to pass from fear, doubt, or spiritual heaviness into the life, peace, and confidence found in Christ?
What areas of my life need to pass from fear, doubt, or spiritual heaviness into the life, peace, and confidence found in Christ?
PRAYERS
Opening prayer
Heavenly Father, I come before You in the name of Jesus with humility, faith, and reverence.
Today I set aside this day to seek You with my whole heart. Thank You for Your Word in John 5:24,
that whoever hears Your Word and believes in the One You sent has everlasting life and has passed from death to life.
Father, I declare today that I believe Jesus is the One You sent. I believe He is Your Son, my Savior, and my Redeemer.
I believe through Him I have eternal life. As I begin this fast, cleanse my heart, quiet every distraction, and draw me closer to You.
Lord, let this be a day of spiritual renewal, repentance, healing, and transformation. Break every chain of darkness,
every lie of the enemy, and everything in me that does not reflect Your life. Let Your truth fill me, Your presence surround me,
and Your Holy Spirit strengthen me throughout this fast. Today I surrender my mind, body, soul, and spirit to You.
Let death lose its hold, and let the life of Christ arise in me in every area. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Main prayer
Father in Heaven, thank You for the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ.
Your Word says that whoever hears and believes has passed from death to life.
Today I stand on that promise by faith. I declare that through Jesus, I am no longer bound to spiritual death,
sin, shame, condemnation, fear, or the power of darkness.
Lord Jesus, I confess that You are the One sent by the Father. You are the Messiah, the Son of God, the Savior of the world.
I place my full trust in You. Let every area of my life that has felt dead come alive by Your power.
I pray that I pass from death to life, fear to faith, bondage to freedom, sorrow to joy, confusion to peace,
weakness to strength, despair to hope, and carnality to spiritual renewal.
Father, uproot everything in me that is connected to death. Remove dead works, dead relationships, dead desires,
dead faith, dead habits, and dead places in my soul. Let the resurrection life of Jesus flow through my spirit,
mind, emotions, and body. I renounce every agreement with darkness. I reject every voice of unbelief,
every spirit of condemnation, and every lie that says I am stuck, defeated, or forgotten.
Your Word says I have passed from death to life, so I declare that I belong to Jesus, I am alive in Christ,
and I am under grace and not judgment. Holy Spirit, breathe on every dry place in me. Restore my passion for God.
Restore my hunger for righteousness. Restore my prayer life, my peace, my hope, and my spiritual strength.
Teach me to hear God’s Word and believe deeply, without wavering. Father, let this fast mark a turning point in my life.
Let old things pass away and let all things become new. I receive the life of Christ over my heart, my home,
my future, and my purpose. I declare that I will walk as one who has been made alive by the power of Jesus Christ.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
Closing prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for sustaining me through this fast.
Thank You for Your presence, Your strength, and Your living Word.
Thank You that through faith in Jesus Christ, I have passed from death to life.
I seal every prayer I have prayed today in the name of Jesus. Let Your Word remain planted deeply in my heart.
Let the transformation that began today continue to grow and bear fruit in my life.
Help me to keep walking in faith, obedience, and spiritual victory.
Lord, I thank You that death, judgment, condemnation, and darkness do not have the final word over me.
Jesus has the final word, and in Him there is life everlasting. I receive Your peace, Your joy, Your power,
and Your grace to continue forward. May my life reflect that I belong to Christ.
May my words, choices, thoughts, and actions show that I have truly passed from death to life.
Keep me near You, grounded in truth, and full of the Holy Spirit. In Jesus’ mighty name, amen.
